This past afternoon a strong storm moved through the area causing sustained high winds causing trees as well as power lines to come down throughout our response area. Throughout the storm our firefighters and fire police responded to 15 emergencies which ranged from pole fires, building fires, trees blocking the roadway , and several accidents. This evening Chief Yerger of Goodwill EMS brought MICU 329-8 to Station 62 and gave members an in depth overview of the equipment carried and showed newer members how to use it.
