Just after 5pm , Station 62 was dispatched to the 200 block of Bishop Road for a brush fire. 62 Chief Officers arrived and found a fire in a field and was spreading. Brush 62 and UTV 62 arrived and rapidly begun to extinguish the fire utilizing booster lines and several forestry lines. Engine 62-2 arrived to supply Brush 62 and UTV 62 with water. Engine 62-5 staged on Bishop Road to supply Engine 62-2. 62 Fire Police controlled the flow of traffic around the scene allowing crews to safely operate. Crews operated for approximately two hours before returning to the station.
