Just before 5pm as a strong thunderstorm moved through the area, Station 62 was dispatched to the area of West Seven Stars Road and Heritage Drive for trees and wires down. Lieutenant 62 quickly arrived and determined that there were no electrical wires down. 62 Fire Police detoured traffic around the area. East Vincent Township crews were called in to remove the tree and reopen the road. Crews were then dispatched to the 300 block of Ridge Road for an auto accident. Chief 62 arrived to find one vehicle off the roadway into a ditch with no injuries. Rescue 62 and 62 Fire Police controlled traffic until the vehicle could be removed and returned to the roadway. Crews were in service for approximately one hour.
