At approximately 3:30pm , Station 64(NORCO), Station 62, and Berks County Engine 7 (Birdsboro-Union Fire Dept) were dispatched to the 2400 block of Jones Road for a house fire. Chief 64 arrived on location confirming a working fire with fire on the first floor. Crews from Station 62 assisted with interior fire attack, ventilation, and overhaul. Engine 62-1, Engine 62-5,and Utility 62 made the response. Crews were on scene for just about 3 hours prior to returning back into service.
