Just after 1030am, Station 62 along with Good Will Paramedics were dispatched to 1600 Block of South Keim Street for an accident with entrapment, reported to be a vehicle overturned. Chief 62 arrived to find a Ford Pickup truck on its side with a driver still inside. Rescue 62 arrived, stabilized the vehicle and quickly removed the windshield extricating the driver. The driver was evaluated by paramedics. Engine 62-1 arrived and assisted crews from the rescue , clearing debris and applying oil dry on the roadway. Fire police units closed Keim street . Crews were in service for just over an hour.
