At 8:47am , Station 62 along with MICU 84 and Medic 329 (Goodwill) were dispatched to the area of Route 23 and Brownback Church Road for an accident with entrapment. 62 Chief Officers arrived and reported two vehicle accident, a car vs a trash truck with entrapment in the car. Rescue 62 arrived and placed hydraulic rescue tools in service to quickly free the occupant of the vehicle who was transported to a local trauma center for treatment. Traffic was detoured around the scene by 62 Fire Police, East Coventry Police, and East Vincent Police. Crews cleared the scene and opened the roadway in about 30 minutes.
