Just before 5pm Station 62 (Ridge), Tower 64 (Norco) and MICU 84 (Goodwill) were alerted for a chimney fire in the 300 block of Bishop Rd in East Coventry. 62 Chief Officers arrived to find a working chimney fire at a residence back a long stone driveway. Engine 62-2 and Rescue 62 proceeded down the driveway while Engine 62-5 and Tower 64 staged out on Bishop Road and sent their crews to the scene to assist with operations. Crews operated on scene for about 45 mins clearing the chimney and confirming no extension to the rest of the dwelling before returning.
