Girl Scout Troops 4903 & 4342 Visit to Ridge Firehouse

11 Girl Scouts, 2 siblings, & 7 adults used Ridge Firehouse to have a class in Basic First Aid. One of the Ridge Firefighters did the First Aid class! They got basic instructions, saw AEDs, and first aid kits that we carry on the trucks. They earned their First Aid Badge!!

While there they got a tour of the Firehouse, see a firefighters fully geared up, and try on some real firefighter gear. Many questions were asked and answered for all.

The evening ended with the Scouts and siblings, as well as parents, getting to take home some cool handouts!
