On Saturday January 3rd, 2009 one of our own, Bob Megay, who was a Fire Police Captain at Ridge Fire Company during the 1990's and early 2000's passed away. There was a funeral at Brownback's Church Friday January 9th 2009 at 11:00 AM.

Thanks to Spring City and Kimberton Fire Companies for providing their tower {ladder} trucks to form an Arch. We carried Robert under the Arch in Traffic 62, the Fire Police Unit, for his "last alarm", as the Fire House siren sounded in the distance, as a tribute to his years of service.
