Vehicle Accident - 2/23/2009

Box Truck Goes Off Road

  On February 23, 2009 at 1627Hrs the Chester County Dispatch alerted the Ridge Fire Co. (Station 62) and Goodwill Ambulance of Pottstown (MontCo Medic 329-4) for an auto accident on Harmonyville Rd west of Horseshoe La in South Coventry Twp. Initial notes on the call were that there was a white box truck into the woods with the driver out of the truck. Rescue and Engine 62-1 made the response when Battalion arrived on location and found a box truck just off the roadway stuck on a stream bank. Rescue 62 arrived and checked the truck for leaking fluids. Medic 329-4 received a patient refusal and cleared the scene available. All 62 units were available at 1656Hrs.

  Units Responding/On Scene: Rescue 62, Engine 62-1, Medic 329-4, 62 Fire Police, and PSP Embreeville.

Many of these pictures have had their "Brightness" and "Contrast" adjusted to make it easier to see what is going on.
